Temporary Toilet Facilities on the Allotment Site
Several plotholders have expressed concern at the continuing lack of toilet facilities at the allotments. A tent has been erected next to the existing tool store to provide a temporary shelter until the arrival of a portacabin. Users will, however, need to provide their own receptacle and dispose of the waste. Unfortunately this is the best we can do at the moment!

Photo Gallery The photo gallery has been greatly enlarged with pictures arranged in several galleries. Within each gallery, pictures may be viewed individually or as a slideshow. Useful Websites The following are allotment websites that may be of interest to members. www.downtheallotment.co.uk is a site with useful advice, Forums and much more, including a newsletter if you sign up for it. www.allotment.org.uk has many recipes for produce grown on the allotment, including one for Courgette Cake which, I am informed by my sister in law, is very tasty. |
